Guys - How will an ex- take it if I start dating someone else - even tho I wanted more with the him?

it really doesn't matter if he knows or not, your just friends right? and plus he said he only wanted to be friends so why should it matter? i kinda get the feeling that you want him to know that your talking to somebody else just to get a reaction out of him and a jealous one at that. however somewhere in the back of your mind is telling you not to b/c you think you are going to lose him as a friend....you want to be more than friends with him thats why your skeptical about telling him....b/c if it wasnt about that you could care less about him knowing, he may seem like a sensitive guy and all but he also seems like he just wants to have his cake and eat it too....he only wants to be bothered with you at his convience..and i think you know that....so if i were you i would not wait on him at all...he is not ready to settle down, so the best thing for you to do is move on and continue to date others *good luck!!
